At the Forefront of Global Microscopy: Technion Awarded Prestigious Research Grant
The Technion has secured a highly competitive Planning and Budgeting Committee (PBC) grant to acquire two state-of-the-art electron microscopy systems: CRYO-TEM and CRYO-FIB-SEM.
This initiative will significantly enhance the Technion Center for Electron Microscopy of Soft Materials, in collaboration with the Technion Initiative for Human Health.
These advanced cryogenic systems enable imaging at molecular resolution while preserving natural conditions.. Read the full article
Hayadan Has Published an Article Discussing Our Research Toward Improved
Hayadan has published an article discussing our research toward improved desalination. In this ACS Nano paper, Chenhao Yao and Adi Ben-Zvi (Menahem) demonstrated the importance of probing the 3D structure of desalination membranes in their wet, hydrated, close-to-operational state. We showed how the membranes' hydrated, complex 3D structure can be captured using cryo-electron tomography and turned into quantitative, eye-opening insights. Read the article published in Hayadan.
Selective Filtration: The Membranes That Will Help With Medicines and Water Purification
Ynet has published an article discussing our research regarding Hybrid Organic-Inorganic-Organic membranes for molecular separation. The article highlights the development of advanced membranes that combine organic and inorganic layers to achieve highly selective molecular filtration and improved separation efficiency..Read the full article
